According to this year's member survey, development trusts supported over 8000 organisations and small businesses in 2008/2009. Could any of these organisations benefit from membership to the Development Trusts Association?
The Development Trusts Association (DTA) is committed to growing our network of community enterprise practitioners.We believe that our members are our greatest ambassadors and we want to support members in inspiring others to set up development trusts and join our movement.We’re offering members the opportunity to earn a ‘Finder’s Fee’ whenever they introduce a new member to the DTA network.
What does the ‘Finder’s Fee’ consist of?
Existing members* who introduce a community enterprise to the DTA network will have the option to receive ONE of the following, if that organisation is eventually accepted into Full, Emerging or Community of Identity membership:
a) One free delegate place at the next DTA national conference**.
b) A monetary amount equivalent to the ‘introduced’ organisation’s normal annual DTA membership fee***.
Simply ask the organisation that you have introduced to include your name and organisation in their membership application form in the ‘How did you hear about the DTA?’ section of the form.Upon completion of the membership process, the DTA will contact you so that you can choose which ‘Finder’s Fee’ option you would like to claim.

*This offer is open to existing Full, Emerging and Community of Identity members who introduce a community enterprise organisation to the DTA network.The ‘introduced’ organisation must complete the membership process and be accepted into either the Full, Emerging or Community of Identity membership categories before the ‘Finder’s Fee’ can be claimed.
** The conference delegate place ‘Finder’s Fee’ is only applicable for the conference directly following the date that the ‘introduced’ organisation is accepted into membership.This offer cannot be carried forward to forthcoming conferences in following years.
***The amount that can be claimed for the monetary ‘Finder’s Fee’ will be equivalent to the ‘introduced’ organisation’s normal annual DTA membership fee.Membership fees operate on a sliding scale and are dependant on the annual income of the organisation and can range.For a full breakdown of the membership fees please click here.
