The DTA's Eastern Regional Office supports the growth of existing development trusts and encourages the creation of new community enterprises through information, advice and training.
The Eastern Region covers the following areas:

The Regional Team can offer the following types of support to members or prospective members:
- Support to organisations seeking to become Development Trusts.
- Advice and information for existing Development Trusts.
- Advice on asset based development and asset transfer.
- Help and assistance with strategic planning and business support.
- Encouragement in the development of enterprise schemes through the application of Cultivating Enterprise.
- Support in organising Knowledge and Skills Exchange visits.
- Signposting funding opportunities.
