The Development Trusts Association is currently recruiting for a Regional Development Officer for the West Midlands region and a Regional Development Officer for the London region.

Regional Development Officer: West Midlands

Salary range: £26,095 to £29,454
Location: West Midlands

This is an exciting opportunity to help to grow membership of the Development Trusts movement across the West Midlands. An excellent communicator, you will be enthusiastic about the work of the DTA and have an understanding of the issues faced by communities. You will have knowledge and practical experience of the community based regeneration sector. Based at our regional office in Birmingham, you will be working across the whole of the West Midlands in both rural and urban communities.

Regional Development Officer, London

Salary range: £28,579 - £31,939 pa (includes London weighting)

Location: National Office, London N1

The London Regional Team supports the formation and development of trusts in the capital’s diverse and disadvantaged communities. We are dedicated to providing an excellent service to our members and partners. The job holder will support the formation of new development trusts, help existing development trusts operate well, persuade others to support development trusts and help the association operate effectively. In pursuing these objectives we aim to create an active learning network, promote diversity, increase sustainability and develop partnerships with others. This post is part funded by a London Councils grant. You will be an enthusiast for community based regeneration, with knowledge of the social/community enterprise movement and experience in social or community enterprise development.
