Capacitybuilders

In association with our Community Alliance partners, the DTA has responded to the consultation on the future structure of Capacitybuilders. In addition the DTA had called for the five national 'hubs' to be wound down and their commissioning functions to be taken over by Capacitybuilders itself. This was agreed, despite opposition from the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA).

The DTA has also raised with Capacitybuilders the deplorable situation in some regions where the regional commissioning process has lacked positive strategy and has played to narrow vested interests.
