Cultivating Enterprise is about growing the next generation of community enterprises through specialist advice and practical 'hands on' support
Are you a community organisation with a business idea? Perhaps you are planning your first trading activity, or thinking about growing an existing business, or considering an ambitious new enterprise. We can help you get you enterprise off the ground and trading! The Cultivating Enterprise programme offers support to community enterprises at the earliest stage of development, providing a flexible package that can be customised to meet the specific needs of development trusts. Its focus is on 'pre-business support' and in ensuring that community organisations have the internal capacity to successfully embrace enterprise. The primary benefits of the programme are: - A specialist diagnostic assessment
- Five days business support from our SFEDI accredited regional staff
- Access to our small grants
- Signposting to other sources of support and/or funding
- Access to additional DTA resources where appropriate (e.g. small grants for visits, mentoring arrangements)
