Building on the best, it is possible within five - ten years to achieve 500 high quality and sustainable development trusts across the UK. Each would have assets of at least £1 million. Each would be taking an enterprise approach. Each would be helping to create local prosperity and tackle poverty in areas of market failure. Each would have a lasting impact - helping 500 communities in both urban and rural areas overcome dependency and deprivation, generating wealth within communities, and keeping it there.
