Interview with Barry Quirk - 22 May 2007
Barry Quirk presented the findings of his review on the transfer of public assets to community organisations. An audience of some 100 delegates from Local Authorities as well as practitioners from the community sector were able to ask questions during what turned out to be a lively debate.
Interview with Phil Woolas, MP - 22 May 2007
Phil Woolas is Minister for Local Government and Community Cohesion, and was invited to launch the government's action plan on the Quirk Review. He said that the British public would see the proposals as ‘simply common sense’ and that Gordon Brown was ‘personally committed to this agenda’.
Interview with Campbell Robb - 22 May 2007
Campbell Robb was recently appointed Director General of the Office of the Third Sector (OTS) in the Cabinet Office. He is responsible for driving the Government's strategic approach to enhance and enable a thriving third sector.

Richard Kemp has been a councillor at Liverpool City Council for 23 years. He was Chairing the afternoon panel of speakers at the Symposium.
Interview with Michael Pyner
Michael Pyner is Chief Executive of the Shoreditch Trust which is responsible for the New Deal for Communities process in an area within Shoreditch. Shoreditch Trust has an ambitious asset development programme which will help anchor the trust's action into the future.
Interview with Barbara Harbison
Barbara Harbinson is Chief Executive of Halifax Opportunies Trust, a development trust in West Central Halifax which is behind the refurbishment of an old cotton mill into a brand new 'innovations centre' providing business units and enterprise opportunities for local people.
